02The mission

Your fitness adventure

Between work commitments and day-to-day routine, you don’t get much time to travel. And even when you do, that travel is often not really for you. It’s tied to school holidays, visiting parents, family obligations, or work trips. Without a fixed date in the calendar that you have genuinely committed to, you rarely create space for something that is just for yourself.

And the truth is, you’re allowed to take that time. You’re entitled to it. Staying fulfilled and enriched doesn’t make you selfish. It makes you better for the people around you and better in the relationships you care about. But it won’t just happen. If it’s not in the diary, it drifts.

And when that happens, fitness drifts too. The effort is there, but the meaning fades. Having a clear goal changes that. Working toward something tangible gives purpose to the work and a much deeper sense of satisfaction. Mission: Rinjani, a 3,726 meters, two-day hike, is how you ensure the year leaves a lasting mark.

05Itinerary

Your daily line-up

01

Day One

Land & Lock In

Touch down in Lombok and transfer straight to Senaru (the mountain town). Check in, unpack ... you’re officially off-duty.

We keep the evening simple: gear check and a short briefing so everyone knows exactly what’s coming.

Early dinner, hydrate, and an early night.

Day One: Land & Lock In
02

Day Two

Reach For The Rim

Breakfast, final prep, then transfer to the trailhead and begin the ascent. By afternoon, we reach Sembalun Crater Rim and camp above the clouds. Sunset hits different up here. This is a quiet moment where you realise you’re doing something most people only talk about. Hot meal, warm layers, and an early night

Day Two: Reach For The Rim
03

Day Three

Stunning Summit Views

Summit attempt begins before sunrise. This is the moment everything in the run-up was for. When we reach the top, it’s not just a photo. It’s proof. Let’s celebrate!

We descend, regroup, and transfer out to the South coast of Lombok, where the mission shifts from grit to recovery. Check into our beachfront hotel (near spa/massage locations) for a well-earned reset.

Day Three: Stunning Summit Views

08Details

Nice to knows

Do I need climbing experience?

No technical climbing is required, but you need to be in good physical condition. It’s a two-day hike with some altitude. We recommend training with long hikes and cardio beforehand (that’s what the preparation programme is for).

What fitness level do I need?

You should be able to hike 6-8 hours per day with a daypack. We’ll ensure you improve your conditioning with our preparation programme.

What’s the weather like?

May marks the beginning of the dry season, accompanied by cooler temperatures. It’ll also be less crowded than peak months.

Can I come solo?

Absolutely! Most climbers join solo, so you’ll be in good company. You’ll be part of a small group with a supportive, adventurous vibe. If you’re based in Singapore, you’ll meet everyone beforehand and, if you’re travelling from overseas, we’ll introduce you to the group via video calls before the hike.

Can I bring kids along?

Mount Rinjani is a high-altitude trek, so we don’t recommend it for very young children.

As a guideline, this experience is best suited for fit, active teenagers and adults who can handle longer hiking days, early starts, and challenging conditions.

If you’d like to bring your child/teen, we will assess this on a case-by-case basis, based on their age, fitness level, experience, and ability to carry their own gear. If approved, they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

What do I need to bring?

You’ll need hiking boots, warm layers, a headlamp, water bottles, and your usual personal items. We’ll send a full packing list well ahead of the departure date, and we’ll also run a group call to walk through exactly what to buy (and where to get it).

Is altitude a concern?

The summit is 3,726m. Most people handle the altitude well thanks to our gradual ascent plan. If you’re very concerned, you can consider altitude sickness tablets, but please check with a healthcare professional first.

What if I can’t make the summit?

Safety first. If weather or health prevents the summit, we’ll adjust. Our guides will support you either way. Reaching the crater rim is still an awesome achievement!
